Most of the challenging factors in the sales process can be overcome, or at least mitigated through strong qualification skills.
- Asking leading questions. Asking specific questions.
- Listening intently and with purpose
- Asking better follow-up questions that expose need or want
- Listening some more. And some more.
- Ask negative questions to clarify intent and drive clients in your direction.
- Don’t lie to yourself, if it’s not a good match now, it likely will only get worse.
